EARTHSEEDS is an international effort inspiring a movement to get the "PLANET IN EVERY CLASSROOM" -( in the form of posters or 3-D Globes made from over 2000 NASA photos) by the year 2020. The idea is endorsed by coalitions of Astronauts, Parents and Educators who feel children should be seeing the whole earth from space the way astronaut's view our planet. The outreach was started by the Global View Foundation, an IRS Tax Exempt 501-c-3 Non-Profit headquartered in CS with global outreach. They are non-political and favor trans-partisan actions that are "neither left nor right but forward".

Earthseeds is also the main driving force behind the establishment of the "SUS-BUS" - A Community Sustainability Bus that will be unveiled at Palmer High School on Sat April 26th's Earth Day Celebration. This bus will serve as a kind of "Green Bookmobile" or portable Sustainability Fair on wheels that will travel to events, schools, churches, concerts etc and be open to the public to learn more about Green Sustainable Practices. It will carry inter-active displays offering energy and money-saving tips on how to adapt to a greener lifestyle as well as showcase many diverse positive solutions to today's challenges. Info from Colorado Springs Utilities, local green businesses, many local non-profits and award-winning student science projects will be among the displays available.

GREEN TEACHER AWARDS: foster further green growth of consciousness via "Pay it Forward Energy." Together we all help plant more "Earthseeds" of positive sustainable best practice methods into the hearts and minds of our future leaders. Green Teacher Awards help bring greater awareness - to the goals of balancing our carbon footprints, helping reduce, reuse, recycle and recreate our efforts to help alleviate global climate change and raise more environmentally literate citizens for future forward days. Thank you All.
